When you want to take advantage of this tasty and growing market.
We're all you need.

Let's talk

Packing value into premium retail spaces.

Delivering successful ‘food-to-go’ concepts poses specific challenges, often incorporating hot, ambient, and chilled offers. With the ever-increasing consumer appetite for food-to-go, we recognise the demand for quality, flexibility and durability as standard, especially in these high-traffic areas, positioned in premium in-store locations.

Harmonising multiple brands within a single scheme.

Our team are experienced at incorporating multiple brand requirements during the design phase and throughout the project, we help to create harmonious, brand-sympathetic schemes.

Adapting to consumer behaviours.

Understanding your customers’ journey and how particular offers and occasions work for different audiences helps us consider every aspect of the project before a physical concept is brought to life.

All you need in one place.

From taking care of manufacture, procuring and consolidating 3rd party equipment, site installation through to handover. We simplify the process by giving our customers a single point of contact.

Food-to-Go stories

Safer, happier and busier at Pret-A-Manger.

Local production to achieve speed to market was crucial. We quickly designed and developed a removable screen solution that integrated perfectly with the current design. We rolled out to 305 stores, with installations managed by region to correspond with their particular lockdown status.

Handmade Sushi, now fresh every day.

When ASDA wanted fresh, in-store Sushi concessions to whet the consumer’s appetites for exotic and delicious food-to-go, they chose Nuttall as Principal Contractor to deliver theproject. We created a flexible, bespoke programme of works, supporting the client from cradle to grave. Hoarding H&S requirements were central to the brief – creating an all important safety barrier for the duration of the fit, whilst also getting customers excited about the forthcoming unveiling of the concept.

Raising more than the quality of M&S food-to-go.

When M&S were looking to introduce a high quality hot food offer, they asked true hot-holding experts Flexeserve®, our sister brand, to help realise their aspirations. They applied their holistic approach; reviewing product menus, cook method, packaging and in-store service, combined with their unique Flexeserve hot air recirculation technology to develop a credible range of products that would exceed expectations. Working together, they were able to extend the shelf life of many key hot-hold products up to 4 hours without impacting food quality, resulting in a substantial reduction in food waste and in-store labour, as well as a significant increase in sales.

PRISM IN PRACTICE WITH

Call the experts to deliver a UK-wide concept.

From sketch to full concept.

Delivering a UK-wide ‘food-to-go’ concept for the entire Morrisons estate, began with simple, functional sketches to gather stakeholder input. Incorporating feedback as we went along, the project progressed through 3D visuals to technical drawings for the workable, on-brand scheme.

Incorporating the very best hot-holding.

Our sister brand, Flexeserve are leaders in hot holding and food-to-go solutions, so were the natural choice for incorporation into this high-performance, compact solution. We manufactured over 400 ‘BREW’ displays at our Dudley plant, in batches of 100, designating a dedicated logistics hub for the whole project.

Rapid roll-out in Covid conditions.

With up to seven installs taking place per night at the very height of the pandemic, expert project management and co-ordination was a must. Logistics needed to be meticulously planned, but ultimately flexible – as lockdown restrictions were changing daily. But the whole plan ran like clockwork, thanks to the dedication and tenacity of the teams involved.
